Central Control Building, ADNOC, Abu Dhabi
Due to its successful integration of vertical gardens, energy and water efficiency, and grey-water irrigation systems, this Project won the Gold LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certificate.
Spazio’s Scope for the Project included the architectural and interior ergonomic design of the Control Center as well as of the offices, visitor experience areas, meeting rooms, utility rooms, restrooms, a cafeteria, and the surrounding landscape.
Inside the Center, a double-height layout with all-glass windows provides optimal view of the Center and everyday flow. Spazio seamlessly integrated the at-the-time most innovative technology in the space: in addition to the Control Room’s large videoscreens, augmented reality and holographic displays were positioned at the center of the entrance, to allow visitors to gain a full view of one of India’s largest refineries.
Vertical gardens with integrated lighting bring life to the Control Center’s external and internal walls, improving the air quality and providing a stimulating and pleasant environment for workers.
